January 21, 2011 - Paco's been hanging out in this metal candle holder for a while. I use that same table for any setups I do for photos. He looked good in the light from yesterday's photos, so I took a shot of him, too.
January 20, 2011 - These are some candies that bring back memories of my grandmother. Every Christmas she had a huge box of cookies and other sweets delivered to her from Germany, and these were one of the goodies inside. A friend was at an Octoberfest and ended up with a couple of packages of these. As soon as I saw them, my eyes lit up. They're basically a layer of gingerbread, a layer of an apricot jelly-like substance, and the top layer is a type of marzipan. January 19, 2011 - Someone got new shoes! I've been wearing a particular brand of hiking style shoes for about 4 years, but the quality of that brand has gone downhill. A friend recommended that I try on some Keen's. So I did, and my feet have never been happier. Of course, my new SmartWool socks also contribute to my foot euphoria.
