July 1, 2009 Cherries Since I'm not really able to get out right now, a friend of mine bought me a few groceries. These cherries were on sale. Since I don't normally buy cherries, I figured that I had to take a photo of them. So I mustered up enough energy to get off the couch and take a few pictures today.
June 30, 2009 Star Anise I actually hate this spice. I'm not a fan of licorice, which is pretty much what this stuff smells like. The ground up spice in the background is actually cinnamon, which I used to cover up the licorice smell.
