August 14, 2008 Eastern State Penitentiary Some other SmugMuggers (Alex, Leslie, Hillary, and John) and I went to the Easter State Pen in Philadelphia yesterday. August 13, 2008 Philadelphia Art Museum I went to Philly today to meet up with a few other Daily Photo SmugMuggers. We met at the Eastern State Penitentiary in the afternoon, but I went into the city much earlier to see the Ansel Adams exhibit at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Here's Another Shot of the columns. The base of these columns is about 8' in diameter. I haven't finished processing all of my Prison Photos, but you can count on seeing a few tomorrow.
August 12, 2008 (2 of 2) Saffron -- The World's Most Expensive Spice I had the macro lens out and ready, so I kept looking for small things to shoot. I was looking through the spice rack, and came across my small supply of saffron. Does anyone really have a large supply of saffron? Anyhow, I looked through my stack of colored origami paper to find something with a little contrast or something that would compliment the beautiful reds, yellows, and oranges of the saffron. For some reason, I chose the fluorescent green. I think it works...
