April 29, 2008 (1 of 2) Miniature Beach House This isn't the most photographically interesting photo, but I thought it was a cool shot. This is a beach house that was built to 1/5 scale (I think it was 1/5). It took over 2½ weeks to build. They even used mini quick grip clamps for the railing. It even lights up, inside and out. Here is a dark shot of it lit up on stage.
April 28, 2008 I've been a real slacker lately. My last photo was over a week ago. I feel bad because I have no excuse. I just wasn't in the mood. In other news, I have a photo credit in a local newspaper. The Princeton Packet. http://www.packetonline.com/articles/2008/04/26/time_off/entertainment_news/doc480f82b271d59611006872.txt Anyhow, this is just an observation that was sitting on a desk in my office today. It sort of made me think about the career path I've chosen. I carry a wrench instead of sitting at a desk all day. I honestly think I would go insane if I had to sit at a desk all day. Instead, I run around on a stage covered in 18 tons of beach sand. You can expect to see some sand pictures in the very near future.
April 20, 2008 "Bucked" This is a crazy system of valves, pipes, and knobs that controls the sprinkler deluge system in a high school auditorium. HERE is another shot of it that shows more pipes, and knobs. Those who get the title will find this funny, so I apologize to the DP community for the inside joke. Hopefully, our mist pipe system for our next show will not end up like this...
