Anyone know what kind of spider this is? This guy has been hanging around my front door for over a week now. He usually runs and hides behind some molding as soon as I get near, but this time I think he was sleeping, so I managed to get a shot of him.

I wish I was able to get more of the web to appear in the shot, but it just wasn't the right conditions. I've heard of spraying hair spray on the web to get them to be seen, but I thought would be a bad thing to do to a fully functional web. (and I didn't have any hair spray...)

I caught Mia Hiding behind the vertical blinds in my living room today. She was just soaking up some afternoon sun when she heard the camera clicking and looked right at me.

I played around with a bunch of post processing with this shot. This is a simple Sepia version that I really enjoyed, but here's another version with some color. Tell me which one you like better.

With 3 photos today, I officially made up for the last 2 days that I missed.

Here's Mia playing in a chair. I had a small photo shoot with her yesterday. She's pretty quick, so it's very hard to get good shots of her. She also kept sliding off the chair, and I kept putting her back because I thought the dark chair went well with her fur.

You all must think I put the macro lens down for 2 days, but you would be wrong. Yesterday's and Today's photo were taken with the Macro lens. It's a sweet piece of glass.

There are some more cute photos of Mia HERE.

I'm off today, so It will be a 2 photo day. The second photo is

Self Portrait - Because it's been a while.

Some of you Smuggers take daily self portraits, or at least partial ones... I would rather stick a fork in my eye.

Anyhow, here's me. One of my friends already told me that I look possessed in this pic (probably due to my left eye going a little cross-eyed), and someone else made fun of my hat. The only thing I noticed is that one of my teeth looks shorter than the rest. Hillary? Can you fix that?

Here's a few other shots.

This is a picture I took during our tech rehearsal this weekend. I really like it, so I thought I'd share, because I rarley get to photograph people. This is totally un-photoshopped, and it was taken in full color, not sepia.

Eastern State Penitentiary
Some other SmugMuggers (Alex, Leslie, Hillary, and John) and I went to the Easter State Pen in Philadelphia yesterday.

The Penitentiary was built from 1822-1829 and was used until it closed in 1971. There are many more juicy details at http://www.easternstate.org/.

More of my ESP Photos can be found HERE.

Quesadillas...

This is a shot from a late night quesadilla mission. I needed a DP, and there were some beautiful colors in the kitchen. I was too lazy to get the tripod out, or this shot would be much crisper. This was my second dinner after 3 bottles of wine and fun with friends. Give me a break, and wish me luck for the 2 long weeks ahead of me.

Dynamo

Because Alex asked about my cat's the other day, I realized it's been a few weeks since I've posted any shots of the cats.

Dynamo is a very gray cat, and he tends to be hard to photograph. He always ends up looking flat and boring, so I usually add some sort of PP.

Here's some more shots of Dynamo. The first 5 are new.

Thanks for all of your comments on the Eastern State Photos!
