Matt Pilsner > December 24, 2008 I'm Screwed Up... After 4 Doctor Appointments, 5 X-Rays, and an MRI of my hip, the doctor thinks I might have a screw sticking out through the back of my bone, into the hip joint. If that's what happening, I can understand why I'm in pain. Unfortunately, the metal screws really mess with the MRI images, and it's impossible to position my leg on an ordinary x-ray machine in order to get the full image of the screw. So, now I have to have a fluoroscopy at the hospital in a few weeks, with the possibility of screw removal.
