Matt Pilsner > February 1, 2010 I saw a small bunch of irises at the store today, and I couldn't resist. I might try to do something a little different and more interesting with them tomorrow, but it depends if I can find a clean piece of glass... Speaking of glass... In this photo the iris is sitting on a piece of glass that I took out of the center of my coffee table. The cats were not aware that this piece of glass was missing from the table, and they proceeded to jump on to the table, and then fall right back through the middle. It was probably the highlight of my day.

Matt Pilsner > September 30, 2009 Siamese Daisy SOOC, this is not Photoshopped... I found this weird flower in a bouquet at Trader Joe's, so I had to buy it. I also hoped that it would spark my motivation for macros. You may be seeing a bunch of flower photos from me this week. Here's another shot that shows the base and stem of the flower.

Matt Pilsner > March 27, 2009 Crocus in Princeton. They're not any smarter than a Crocus in Texas. All I had on me was a wide angle lens today, so this is what I ended up with. I would've loved to get a macro of this, but it's good to branch out once and a while.
