A photo for the "20 Photos Scavenger Hunt."
Guess which one it is...

My nephew, Anderson, with a mouth full of pickles.
This shot is a little blurry, thanks to the low light in the kitchen near the pickle tray.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I finally sorted through all of the paperwork from my hip replacement surgeries. This stack of paper is less than half of the original stack. I decided to throw out all of the hospital brochures and information pamphlets that I didn't need. Now I know one of the reasons why healthcare is so expensive... They print all of these pamphlets in color on fancy glossy paper.
I took this shot with my Macro lens that has been in storage for a few weeks.

The Alchemist and Barrister.
This is a photo from over a month ago that's been sitting in Lightroom, waiting to be processed. I finally just turned it into a BW for lack of anything better to to do with it.
It's easy to tell when I get lazy.... You start seeing a lot of BW shots in the Daily Photos.

Turkey shopping.
I went to the grocery store with some friends who were picking out their Thanksgiving turkey last night. We went through them all, looking for the perfect size.
This was taken with my 50mm f/1.4 again. It's amazing how shallow the DoF can be at 1.4. One of her eyes is in focus, while the other is not.

My very first time at a Sonic!

A new portrait of Mia with my new 50mm ƒ/1.4.

So I bought a new (used) Sigma 50mm f1.4! I've been borrowing my buddy's Canon 50mm for almost a year now, and I decided it was time to own my own. I went with the Sigma because it was cheaper than a new Canon, and I also read a little bit about how the wider (77mm) diameter helped with softer bokeh. They weren't kidding! I did a few tests yesterday with both lenses and I'm definitely in love with it. (but not as much as my macro lens.)

In other news, I found a website that makes logos for you. www.LogoNerds.com I had some made and I started a thread over on DGrin.com to get some feedback. Please tell me what you think!
