Matt Pilsner > October 29, 2008 "Glorious Ones" at Westminster Choir College A friend of mine did the Lighting Design for this musical, and he asked me to come take a few photos for his portfolio. I was happy to, because it increased my photography portfolio at the same time. Here's a Link to the rest of the Gallery. I'm not incredibly pleased with most of the photos. Most of the shots were taken with ISO 800 or 1600, and I really lost some clarity with that. Matt Pilsner > October 27, 2008 Corn from the Maize Maze. A couple of friends and I went to Terhune's Orchard today to pick out some pumpkins for the Annual Punkin' Carvin' Party at McCarter. We went through the pretty lame Maize Maze, and I was so bored I stopped to take pictures of corn. Then I cheated and climbed over a fence to get out of the maze.
Matt Pilsner > October 19, 2008 Chillin' in the sun. I know, I know, I'm behind in dailies. My knee has been getting much better, so hopefully I'll be able to get back into the routine starting tomorrow.
Matt Pilsner > October 15, 2008 I've been delinquent from the dailies lately. 2 Doctor appointments and 3 different antibiotics later, I was referred to an Infectious Disease Specialist to diagnose my swollen knee. I've been missing out on a lot of fall colors this year, just because it's painful to walk long distances with my bad knee. So on my way out the door today, I figured this was as close to fall leaves as I might get for some time. Wish me luck with the knee, and let's hope that it's not gout.
Matt Pilsner > October 9th, 2008 Nothing fancy today, just the view from the couch. My knee swelled up to twice its normal size yesterday, so I went to the doctor this morning. He shoved 2 fat needles into both side of the knee, only to find that no fluid would come out. It's apparently an infection between my patella and tendon. Fun times.
Matt Pilsner > October 8th, 2008 Calla Lily by candlelight. I didn't like this original in color, so I converted it to BW and was much happier. Here's a link to two other shots with color.
Matt Pilsner > October 7th, 2008 The Easy way to catch the nutrients from fish. This wasn't totally my idea. I saw a similar picture in a magazine, and I aimed to reproduce it. I'm not totally pleased with the lighting. The hook needs a little more exposure.
