Matt Pilsner > March 5, 2008 I went to a Beer Tasting at Winberie's in Princeton last night. It was fun time with lots of great beer and food. Yesterday was also my first day off in 22 days. The beer and fun was well deserved. Here's a link to more pictures from the event. Believe it or not, there are no macro shots. I didn't even have my macro lens with me!
Matt Pilsner > March 4, 2008 Kiwi Strawberry Nothing too exciting, I just happened to have both kiwis and strawberries in the fridge, so I got out the trusty macro lens, and started shooting. Here was option 2 for the day.
Matt Pilsner > March 2, 2008 Another day at work. This is a weird abstract macro photo of an LED stage lighting fixture. I did quite a bit of PP, because I didn't have much time to sit in front of the light and take the picture. They all ended up over exposed and the colors were way off. The orange circles are really supposed to be red. I can't wait for my much needed day off on Tuesday.
Matt Pilsner > March 1, 2008 The Patch Bay is religious. Some more long days at work, so I took a macro of the patch panel on the sound system. I really don't have anything interesting to say today.
Matt Pilsner > Feb 28, 2008 (1 of 2) I went to Whole Foods for some steaks today, and they had Tulips on sale. I bought 2 bunches for the sole purpose of taking some macro shots. In the store, they were completely closed up, and as soon as I put them in fresh water at home, it only took a few hours for all of them to open up like this. I busted out the tripod and macro lens with my remote and flash, and took about 15 shots. Most of which came out really well. Here's a link to more. I've been working 16 hours a day for the past few days, so I posted 2 photos today because I missed one yesterday.
Matt Pilsner > Feb 28, 2008 (2 of 2) I went for a walk by the D&R Canal today with my roommate. There wasn't anything interesting going on. There was a freshly cut down tree. Inside the tree was a bee's nest. I got a bunch of shots of some honeycomb, etc. Here's a Link to some. It was really the most interesting part of our little afternoon walk.
Matt Pilsner > Feb 26, 2008 (1 of 2) Jon Pellow as a Floating Angel. Ok, so he's not floating and he's not an angel, he's just standing on a ladder hanging some lanterns from a set piece with a painted cloud scrim behind him. I've been working a lot, so please excuse my lack of creativity. I didn't post a photo yesterday, so I'm posting 2 today.
Matt Pilsner > Feb 26, 2008 (2 of 2) HELP, Enter Macro... I was sitting at a light board for almost 7 hours tonight and last night, and I have to be here for the next 2 nights as well. I think I might go crazy. I'm used to being backstage, not sitting in a lonely booth with voices in my head. This is obviously a macro shot of the ETC Express lighting console I was using.
Matt Pilsner > Feb 24, 2008 An emotional shot from the dance show last night. I only took about 5 pictures last night, so I was glad that one of them came out OK. Here was my alternate/obligatory macro photo for the day.
