This gallery contains Daily Moments that provoked a photo. I hope to add a new photo every day, but with my unpredictable schedule, there will be a few days lost. HERE is a link to last year's Daily Photos.

This is a bunch of dried Pink Lily of the Valley hanging on the bulletin board in the wardrobe room at work. When I took the picture, it looked pretty cool with the background and all, but I wish I had better light. There's a soft focus feel to it because I had to use a slow shutter with no tripod.

Just a boring texture macro shot.

Derby Pie on Drafting Table
I know what you're thinking... What's Derby Pie? Well, today is the Kentucky Derby, and a co-worker that's from Kentucky brought in some Derby Pie. It was delicious! Someone else brought in Mint Juleps for our dinner break!!

Here are some more shots of the Derby pie on the drafting table.

Sand, Sand and more Sand
18 tons in fact. We created a beach onstage, and I got a quick shot of the sand while working. I wanted to set this up a little more, but I didn't have much time. I feel that the focus could be a little crisper in this image. I also didn't have my macro lens on me. Look for more sand macros in the near future.

Yesterday was my day off, so I had some extra time to take a few extra shots. This is a shot of my Nalgene Water Bottle on top of a Lava Lamp base. The smiley face is on a splash guard that my friend gave me. (Thanks Meredith!) Here's a shot of the same bottle, but looking straight down at it.

Thanks for all of your comments on the puppy yesterday!

BAILEY

My Roommate's Girlfriend just got a puppy. While she was at work, we stole Bailey to take him for a walk around Princeton's Campus. It was more of a "carry" instead of a walk. He was really tired, and just wanted everyone to stop and pet him.

HERE'S A LINK to more photos of Bailey. Let me know what you think of them. I sort of wanted to get a "photo session" for him. (Puppies grow up too fast.) Here's a Sepia version of this photo, but I'm not sure if I like it. It seems rather blah, but i feel like it has a little more mood to it.

This is just Mia, Posing for the camera again. Well, she's really watching the laser pointer on the ceiling.

I've found that Mia looks great in Sepia.

Since I missed 8 days of photos, and this morning's photo was just mediocre, here's yet another mediocre, yet interesting photo.

This is a pile of pillows waiting for their stage debut. Sometimes we just can't decide which pillow to use, so we buy a million, and decide later. Don't you wish you could do that in your house?

Here's another shot...

Miniature Beach House

This isn't the most photographically interesting photo, but I thought it was a cool shot. This is a beach house that was built to 1/5 scale (I think it was 1/5). It took over 2½ weeks to build. They even used mini quick grip clamps for the railing. It even lights up, inside and out. Here is a dark shot of it lit up on stage.
