Matt Pilsner > May 25, 2008 Peaks and Valleys Just your ordinary texture macro. This isn't an easy "guess what it is" so I'm just going to give it away. The other day someone posted a macro of the grip texture on a maglite flashlight. I can't find that picture to link to it, so if anyone knows who's it was, let me know so I can give them credit. Anyhow, that shot gave me the idea for this shot of the grip texture on one of my dumbbells. Happy Memorial Day Weekend. Drink Safe!
Matt Pilsner > May 24, 2008 Dynamo I haven't played with selective coloring in a while, so I wanted to see if I could do it without looking up help. I'm not a photoshop professional, but I was able to recall all the steps without help. This isn't the best photo in the world, but I thought it was a good candidate to show off his eyes.
Matt Pilsner > May 23, 2008 Guess What it is... (probably too easy, so you get no clues...) More fun with polarization. This shot was not very colorful, but I still think it's interesting. Here's a better example.

I'm not incredibly happy with how this came out. The makeshift light table I used is probably why... In case you're wondering what it is, see if you can guess before looking at the keywords. Thanks to kre8ive for the inspiration, help, and ideas.
