This gallery contains Daily Moments that provoked a photo. I hope to add a new photo every day, but with my unpredictable schedule, there will be a few days lost. HERE is a link to last year's Daily Photos.

The Beer Float

Yuengling Black & Tan plus Chocolate Ice Cream = Pretty darn tasty.

I hosted a small party last night at my apartment. The Interns from my summer job needed a place to stay for their last night in Princeton. At a previous party earlier this month, the interns discovered the "BeerMosa." They wanted something new and a little "heavier" so they invented the Beer Float. It was surprisingly not as disgusting as it sounds. Try It!

Anyone know what kind of spider this is? This guy has been hanging around my front door for over a week now. He usually runs and hides behind some molding as soon as I get near, but this time I think he was sleeping, so I managed to get a shot of him.

I wish I was able to get more of the web to appear in the shot, but it just wasn't the right conditions. I've heard of spraying hair spray on the web to get them to be seen, but I thought would be a bad thing to do to a fully functional web. (and I didn't have any hair spray...)

Ice Cube Trays (Photo by: Martha Beggerly)
There was an impromptu party at my apartment where my camera came out for a little bit. Martha (one of my interns from the opera company I'm working for) was getting artistic with some things around the apartment. I thought this shot was pretty cool, so I posted it. The lighting was from a flash, so it's not that great, but Martha definitely has an eye for composition.

Back to the Daily Photos
I figured I'd take some easy macro shots to get back in the groove. Here's another shot of my jeans that I had to choose from for today's shot.
I've been working my ass off (literally) for the past month. I didn't have the motivation to take any daily photos during my month long job as Stage Supervisor for Opera NJ.

To give you an idea of what I've been doing, imagine 3 opera sets in one theatre at the same time. One of the sets is meant for a much larger stage that what we were on. And of course, it was rare that a set could stay on stage for more than 2 days at a time. There were many days when we had all 3 sets on the stage at some point. My crew of interns and I managed to get through it alive, but we still have a few more days left until we get all the sets packed up and returned. I may miss a few daily photos until I'm officially done, but I'll back, full force, in no time.

The other day,I realized that I've been doing daily photos for over a year now. I took a look at my old 2007 gallery, and was amazed at how much I've grown and learned. I thank all of you on the DP Community for your support, help, and motivation.

Relaxed Bailey

Usually Bailey doesn't calm down enough for me to get a decent shot of him, but tonight he did for about 5 seconds. I managed to capture this shot, which is not that great, but I wish I had the time to just chill like this whenever I wanted to.

Here's a link to Bailey's Gallery, he's gotten pretty huge in no time at all...

Redskins

So Dan is going to kill me for posting this shot... If I stop posting after today, you'll should start a search party...

His skin is not that bad and red, but I thought Id' make this photo look creepier with some red adjustments.

Eyes are really cool to me, and I'd like to start photographing them. It seems like a very difficult task, but it might be something else for me to work on. I just need to find some pretty eyes.

Guess What it is...

I thought this object had some cool colors, so I threw it under some sunlight, and took a few shots. If you need some help guessing, here is the object in Dynamo's Eyes.

Playing with Fire

I decided to play with fire today. I've been wanting to try and capture the lighting of a match. I was somewhat succesful, but I ran out of patience before I got a perfect shot.

This shot is straight out of the camera. Here's a Gallery of today's fire shots. All of them are SOOC.

Hole Punch Waste

I've been busy putting a binder of paperwork together for work. This was in front of me so I took a shot of it. I added the red paper just for a little color.

Here is a cropped shot of the same image. I was amazed how much the ink was raised on the paper.
