In an effort to improve my photography skills, I'm going to try to take a "good" picture every day. I started this project on June 18th, 2007, the day I bought my new camera.

Matt Pilsner > 10/30 This was one of the skulls at our pumpkin carving station last night at the annual McCarter Pumpkin Carving Party. I started to just take pictures of the crazy flame, but then I realized that there was a skull behind it. Don't worry, the skull is rubber. No one had to die for this shot.
Matt Pilsner > 10/29 I actually took this picture last night at a party. I thought the colors looked great together.
Matt Pilsner > 10/28 "The Quarter Past Three" I've been looking at this clock every day for the past couple of years, so I was reluctant to take a picture of it because I'm bored with it. I limited myself to one quarter of it, and I tried to make sure I had some nice shadows, but they turn out as I had hoped.
Matt Pilsner > 10/27 This a really weird looking pine cone that was in the back of my truck today after the windy rain storm this morning. I thought it was cool, so I snapped a picture.
Matt Pilsner > 10/27 I put two pictures up today because I've missed 2 days this month so far. I realized that I haven't been taking many photos of my cat lately, so here's his most recent mug.
Matt Pilsner > 10/26 This explains my week... I can't get enough of this stuff right now. My brother will be proud to know that I use the glass he bought me at his wedding. I had some "beer pouring" shots, but they didn't turn out so well. The lighting in my living room sucks.
Matt Pilsner > 10/25 "Conquering the Cheeseborough" This is what happens to a stubborn cheeseborough when it faces the rath of Matt Pilsner after a long frustrating week with an incompetent technical director. I know what you're thinking: "not another silver object on a black fabric background..." well, I like shiny objects.
Matt Pilsner > 10/24 Snickerdoodles I made cookies tonight, just for the hell of it. The guys at work like my cookies.
Matt Pilsner > 10/22 I just worked today, and drank tonight, so there's nothing too exciting going on. Here's a shot of the moon that I was finally able to see from my balcony. There are more pics of the moon under my moon category under my Photography galleries.
