In an effort to improve my photography skills, I'm going to try to take a "good" picture every day. I started this project on June 18th, 2007, the day I bought my new camera.

This is the Princeton Univ Campus from 7 or 8 stories above street level. It's not he entire campus, but you can see the stadium lights in the background. The building across the street is the Dinky Train Station.
This was a 2 second shutter. I think it came out really well for just leaning my camera on the tiny windowsill.

Color Code
Another "Bored at work" Shot. It was dark, and I was playing with long shutter speeds while hand holding the camera.

Watch out for the Brick Wall.
This was a fun challenge in mirror vs. focal length. What appeared in the mirror to my eye was different from what I saw through the camera. No photoshopping in this photo, I don't think I could do this if I tried.

This is a picture I took during our tech rehearsal this weekend. I really like it, so I thought I'd share, because I rarley get to photograph people. This is totally un-photoshopped, and it was taken in full color, not sepia.

Here it is! Guess what it is.

Late Night Sunset
I took this picture on my way back from Taco Bell while I was waiting in traffic. The sun was just about done setting, but I managed to capture some of the last colors left in the sky. I thought it came out pretty well for a handheld shot out the window of my truck. I particularly like the fact that the streaks from the moving car on the bottom left lined up. The tail lights stop right where the headlights started.
Sorry I lied in the caption yesterday. This isn't a "guess what it is" picture, unless you want to guess what the signs on the left say. I promise a GWIS for tomorrow! It's currently in my camera. Stay Tuned.

Seeing Ghosts on Halloween.
I wish I had more of his ears in this picture. He had one pointed in each direction.
I forgot to take my camera to work today, or I would have some much more interesting photos to post. Stay tuned for tomorrow's POTD for a "Guess What It Is" photo.

Anticipating Winter
This weather is driving me nuts. I hate warm weather, and I just want it to be cold out already. I hate when it is 70° during the day and 40° at night. I was about to dive into my freezer when I saw the ice cubes.
