In an effort to improve my photography skills, I'm going to try to take a "good" picture every day. I started this project on June 18th, 2007, the day I bought my new camera.

Matt Pilsner > 12/20 Floating Ice in a really good Cognac. Yum. Looks like a little cognac mushroom cloud.

Matt Pilsner > 12/17 I wasn't sure if this could be a "guess what it is" photo or not. Is it too easy to guess?
Matt Pilsner > 12/14 Fall Frost I've been bad at taking a photo a day lately. I've been randomly taking pictures, but haven't had many I liked. This is one I took 2 days ago on my way to work. It was early and there was frost on the ground, as well as some snow from the day before. I thought the fog in the distance looked cool through the trees. I wish it was sunny though.
Matt Pilsner > 12/9 Kristina is one of those people that you just can't get a good picture of. Out of 12 photos that I took last night, this one came out really well. It's not hard to make her laugh, but it is hard to get her to keep her eyes open while she's laughing. You should see some of the others, they were so bad. I used my new flash with this one.
Matt Pilsner > 12/8 The Circle of Life... or just an onion ring? Things that make you go hmmm.... Think about that one! I'm feeling very sarcastic today.
Matt Pilsner > 12/7 Playing with my flash again. The cat has been my main subject, and he's beginning to catch on. When he sees the camera come out, he usually runs away. I had to catch him sleeping. This isn't a great picture in my opinion, but I was busy with work today.
Matt Pilsner > 12/6 I bought a new flash today. (Canon Speedlite 430EX) I was playing with it by taking pictures of my dinner. Yep, those are ramen noodles at 11 cents a pack. How do you think I could afford the flash?
