In an effort to improve my photography skills, I'm going to try to take a "good" picture every day. I started this project on June 18th, 2007, the day I bought my new camera.

Matt Pilsner > Rainy Day with a Telephoto Lens. I took it from my balony, how exciting.
Matt Pilsner > Bike Rack...
The return of the photo-a-day project. I've been slacking on the photography, because I've been working 16 hours a day for the past 2 weeks.

I f'ed up the White Balance when I took the picture, so I just made it black and white, looks better that way anyhow.
Matt Pilsner > Haven't had Dynamo in here for a while. Here he is, all 15.5 lbs of him.
Matt Pilsner > Breakfast... I had my damn flourescent lights on, so the white balance is off. It was probably set on daylight, instead of flourescent lights. I could probably fix that in Photo Shop, but I'd rather just take the picture right, instead of having to constantly fix my photos.
Matt Pilsner > I call it "Peggy Behind Fruit Basket." It was just a random shot I took at Dale's Party. I thought it looked cool, so I put it on here. The focus kinda sucks, I wish Peggy was a little clearer than the basket. I have to keep working on my depth of field. In the end, I don't think it's a bad picture considering it was spur of the moment, and peggy would've moved if she saw me taking a picture.
Matt Pilsner > This one goes along with yesterday's picture. Thanks to Small World Coffee beans ( http://www.smallworldcoffee.com) I have an intersting subject for a still life. I particularly like the reflection of the beans in the measuring cup. I wish the reflection was clearer. Not too much camera shake considering it was 1/5 shutter speed and no tripod.
Matt Pilsner > This was an effort to play with mutliple settings at once. The hardest thing was the manual focus. Out of 10 pictures of this delicious cup of Small World Coffee, this is the only one that had clear bubbles.
Matt Pilsner > This is a bridge over the Delware-Raritan Canal in the middle of a golf course in princeton. I was trying to work on the depth of field, but the bridge surface ended up over-exposed. However, the linear composition came out well.
Matt Pilsner > I spent my day off at a beach in Belmar, NJ. This was the view from my Towel.
